Buenos Aires, November 20 (NA) – Eduardo Ezequiel López Rodríguez, 38, who was being transferred to the Quilmes Judicial Department, managed to escape. He stole a car, crashed, and was re-arrested in the Buenos Aires suburbs this noon. According to the Argentine News Agency, based on televised statements, the man began a pursuit and collided with a couple on a motorcycle, ultimately being taken back into police custody. The accused was being transported to the Dependency of the Criminal Court No. 4, located at Hipólito Yrigoyen 475, as he is charged with aggravated robbery in attempt and possession of a firearm. The collision with the couple occurred at the intersection of the Alberdi level crossing and Hipólito Yrigoyen street. As a result of the accident, the victims had to be taken to the Dr. Isidoro Iriarte General Acute Regional Hospital in Quilmes.
